Towerlands Park Golf Course in Braintree, Essex is set within 130 acres of rolling countryside yet is less than 20 minutes from the M11& Stansted airport making this a wonderful getaway from the hustle & bustle of the local cities & towns. The golf course has ample hard standing car parking and its own separate club house away from the main Towerlands Park facilities to help give a proper 'club' feel. The changing rooms are extensive & fully equipped with generous locker storage & showers. The challenging 9 hole parkland golf course with 18 tees, 5559 yards, is a par 68 men and par 69 ladies. Non-members are welcome & the course is open every day of the week, throughout the year, excluding Christmas day. This charming golf course is one of the hidden gems of Essex & is well worth a visit on a pay & play basis or as a full member.

Situated on gently undulating grassland on which numerous trees have been planted to define and separate the different holes, the course is suitable for players of all abilities. With narrow fairways, small greens which are often protected by bunkers on both sides, and several internal out of bounds, the more experienced golfers will find it a challenge to return low scores. Those fairly new to golf will also be able to enjoy and improve their game.
Green fees are welcome on ALL days although there are ‘members only’ restrictions that mean green fees are NOT available at the following times :
Sunday - Before 12 noon
Wednesday - Restricted before 10a.m. (Seniors Matches) and after 4.30 p.m.
Thursday - Restricted (Ladies) before 10 a.m.
Bank Holidays - Before 12 noon
